- Doing Business with the State of Maryland
Are you interested in doing business with the State of Maryland? Spending taxpayer dollars requires an open and transparent procurement process. Understanding how the state buys things will help you compete with greater confidence. This session includes an overview of the socioeconomic programs, certifications, the procurement process, and the key differentiators of the state contracting arena. You'll learn how to mine public data to identify what agency & procurement entities are buying what you sell, contracting cycles, winning pricing, and much more.

- Compliance Considerations for Prime & Subcontractors
This is the second of our 2-Part Series in partnership with Maryland's MBE Ombudsman Unit.
What rules govern the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Program? Competition is tough in the State contracting arena. Your chances of success are much greater when you understand the rules. This is particularly important when performing as an MBE. Join us for an in-depth look at the statutes and regulations in place today, as well as your rights and responsibilities as an MBE prime contractor or subcontractor.

- Anatomy of a Solicitation & Responding to Solicitations with your Bids & Proposals
This is the second & third of our 3-Part "Procurement Series" in partnership with Maryland's Office of State Procurement / Maryland Department of General Services.
As a Prime Contractor or Subcontractor are you looking to better understand how to review a solicitation in the State of Maryland, and then how to best respond with a Bid and/or Proposal? In this session, the Anatomy of a Solicitation, will provide an overview of the key components of a solicitation, what each section means, and what Prime Contractors should focus on to be considered responsive and responsible. We will then cover how to use that which you have learned about a solicitation, and prepare a more effective response via a Bid and/or Proposal. Participants will also gain insight into important requirements, including post-award responsibilities such as reporting.
We post copies of the slide presentations from each class, after each webinar is completed.
You can find the copies for the most recent month on the left hand side panel.
