  • Prime Contracting as a Certified Small Business (CSB) in the Small Business Reserve (SBR) & Small Business Preference (SBP) Programs

    Are you interested in doing business as a Certified Small Business (CSB)? Join us for this informative webinar where we will discuss how to get certified as a Certified Small Business (CSB) in Maryland, and then how to perform as a prime contractor in both our Small Business Reserve Program (SBR) and our Small Business Preference Program (SBP). Approximately 30% of all open state-funded solicitations are designated to the SBR Program. In the SBP Program a designated base price preference, not to exceed 5% may be given to a certified CSB. A 2% can be added for the VSBE, and a 3% added for a disabled-veteran-owned small business. Every small, minority, women and veteran business owner that is ready to preform as a prime contactor should get their CSB certification and participate in both of these programs. This class covers both program's eligibility standards, the online self-certification process, and the pipeline for identifying potential opportunities.​
