Governor's Office of
Small, Minority & Women Business Affairs
Mission: As a coordinating office of Governor Larry Hogan, we connect the small business community to greater economic opportunities in both the public and private sectors, while implementing and monitoring small, minority, women, and veteran procurement programs across 70 state agencies.
Vision: Create an open and accessible culture where Maryland is open for all small businesses, including those owned by minorities, women and veterans.
Under the leadership of the Hogan administration, Maryland is OPEN for Business. We're making significant progress toward improving our statewide economy, creating more jobs, reducing or eliminating fees, and modernizing our state procurement systems. All these actions build a climate where entrepreneurs can succeed.
The Governor's Office of Small, Minority & Women Business Affairs is a coordinating office within the Executive Branch. Our primary role is to connect the small business community to greater economic opportunities in both the public and private sectors.
We also partner with the entire stakeholder community to ensure that small businesses have access to the tools needed to develop their core competency, access capital, and gain policy insights so they can compete with confidence.
